Zeke Holloway, age 90 of Center Point, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in a San Antonio hospital. He was born April 7, 1927 in Fort Smith, AR to Ezekiel Lee Holloway Sr. and Annie Virginia (Smith) Holloway. He married Leona Audrey Alston on October 11, 1947 in Grants, New Mexico.\r\n \r\nZeke was a veteran of the US Navy where he was a cook. He was the owner of Hill River Water Works in Center Point and was a carpenter and contractor. He enjoyed collecting rocks and making jewelry. He loved to cook, build things and was always busy.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include wife, Leona Holloway of Center Point; daughter, Mona Boothby (Gregg) of Center Point; son, Ezekiel "Lee" Holloway of Center Point; son-in-law, Milton Taylor of Kerrville; sisters, Dorothy Chambers and Mary Wilson of Arkansas; brothers, James Holloway and Wendell Holloway of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; and countless great-grandchildren. \r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Taylor; sister, Cherry Bugg; brothers, Albert Holloway, William Holloway and Victor Rush.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor Robert Lockaby and Gregg Boothby. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery. \r\n
