William Carmel "Bill" Yarbrough, of Ingram, Texas passed away on December 24, 2014 at a local hospital, Kerrville Texas at age 83. He was born in Tattnall County, Georgia to Tollie Mae and Pleasant Walter Yarbrough on September 8, 1931. He married Emma Marjorie Buxton on August 29, 1950 in the Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nBill is preceded in death by father, mother, brother (Norman Yarbrough), sister (Ophelia Cocker) and his in-laws, Earl Buxton, Linnie Buxton, Earl Buxton Jr., C L "Buck" Buxton, and Ada Lorene Cade.\r\n \r\nBill is survived by wife, Marjorie, daughter Debra Galloway and husband David, daughter Shelly Evatt and husband James, brother Don Yarbrough and wife Sandra, sister Lenora Kelly, sister Patsy Padgett, sister-in-law Barbara Buxton, sister-in-law Treeca Yarbrough, grandson Coy Galloway and wife Deanna, grandson Ty Galloway and wife Lacie, grandson Austin Magee, granddaughter Cheyanne Magee, 4 great-grandchildren; Emrys, Maeve, Sloane, and Liam, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.\r\n \r\nBill was a long time active member of the West Kerr Community. He owned and operated Heart-O-The-Hills Glass Shop for 38 years. It began the revitalization of Old Ingram Loop. He was the lead singer in his local band for 15 years. He was an Ingram ISD school board member for 6 years; president of the board during the inaugural year of the Ingram Tom Moore High School. During that year, he addressed the faculty and expressed his desire for our community to have Ingram Pride Inside. \r\n \r\nThe family Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, December 26th at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nThe Graveside Services will be held at Nichols Cemetery on Saturday, December 27th at 2:00 pm with Ray Altman officiating. \r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
