William Knipe, 90, of Kerrville passed away on July 25, 2015 in Kerrville. He was born in Echuca, Australia to Joseph and May Knipe on April 26, 1925. He married Anne Wilby at Mitton Church, Lancashire, England.\r\n \r\nHe worked as an Electrical Engineer all his life, starting as an apprentice and working his way up through night school to a Master of Engineering with the Institute of Electrical Engineering in the UK.\r\n \r\nHe moved to the US in 1981, worked for Rohm & Haas in Bayport, Texas near Houston, where he stayed until he retired, often returning as a consultant. He moved to Kerrville in 1995.\r\n \r\nWilliam Knipe is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne, and his younger siblings, John, Richard and Margaret.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his children, Simon and Vanessa, and grandson, Benedict.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Williams officiating.
