William Ellis

William W. "Bill" Ellis, Jr., age 90 of Kerrville, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 in a local care center. He was born March 6, 1924 in Corpus Christi to William Wesley Ellis, Sr. and Alice Mae (Stephenson) Ellis. On October 18, 1946, he married Marjory Matteson in Houston. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2012.\r\n \r\nBill served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He had worked as a builder's hardware salesman. He had been a board member of Kerr County Day Care Center and Heart of the Hills Hospice. Bill was of the Presbyterian faith.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by close friend, Sandra Lumbley of Junction; nieces, Judith and Cor Ferrari, Nancy and Dick Drysdale and Jamie and Clay Landry.\r\n \r\nPrivate graveside services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be made to Salvation Army for children's gifts or the Angel Tree for Children.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
