John Wesley (Wes) McComb, born February 18, 1954, passed away on November 10, 2015 in Kerrville, TX from ongoing health issues. \r\n \r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Monday, November 23, 2015 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at the Llano City Cemetery in Llano, TX at 1:00 P.M. Stockton Williams, Rector, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, will officiate both the church and graveside services.\r\n \r\nWes is survived by his three sons, Robert Christian McComb, William Lee McComb, both of Covington, LA and John Wesley McComb, Jr. of Houston. TX. His two brothers also survive him, Charles James McComb, Jr. of Houston. TX and Richard Parker McComb of Lancaster, TX.\r\n \r\nWes was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. He was active in Boy Scouts where he earned his Eagle Scout. He later graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA. Moving to Houston, TX upon graduation, he worked many years in computer administration for insurance companies. He later retired and eventually moved to Slidell, LA. Wes later moved to Kerrville, TX to pursue his interest in writing books. He authored numerous publications for his church.\r\n \r\n \r\n
