Virginia Taylor

Virginia Lee Lane Taylor went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 3, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born November 18, 1938 in Boerne, Texas to Milton and Minna Scholl Lane. \r\n\r\nShe graduated from Boerne High School and attended beauty school in San Antonio. She married A.R. (Babe) Taylor, Jr. August 8, 1958 at the Methodist Church in Boerne. She always said she married him because he was such a good dancer. They were married for sixty years August 8, 2018. She worked as a hairdresser before becoming a stay-at-home mom to their three children. She was employed as a bookkeeper for several companies throughout the rest of her career. She was a talented seamstress and artist in her spare time.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Babe Taylor; her children, Tammy Gold and husband Jackie, Lane Taylor and wife Johnna, and Alvie Taylor. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Mandy Tatsch, Donnie Gold, A.J. Taylor, Julie Boisen, Rachel Vanegas, Jaclyn Taylor and Allison Taylor; and 7 great-grandchildren, Kenna, Nicole and Dusty Tatsch, Mikah and Mason Carlile, and Luke and Hannah Taylor.\r\n\r\nServices will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at Hunt Japonica Cemetery. \r\n\r\nShe requested memorials be made to the American Lung Association.\r\n\r\n
