Virginia Stutes

Virginia E. Stutes passed from this earth on June 12, 2017 after a short illness. She was born August 14, 1940 and spent her early childhood on the family ranch near Junction, Texas. \r\n\r\nHer family moved to San Antonio where she attended schools in the Harlandale District. She married Columbus Stutes, Jr. in December of 1957. \r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dean Self; husband, Columbus Stutes, Jr. and one grandson, Columbus Wayne Norment.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her sister, Barbara Thompson of Rowlet, Texas; daughter, Kathy Norment; sons, Columbus, John, Kelly, Eric and their spouses; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nThere will be a private memorial for the family. \r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers and ask that donations be made to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
