Virginia Lunday

Virginia Johannessen Lunday, born August 28, 1927 in Edinburg, Texas, passed away in Kerrville, Texas on December 14, 2016 with family and friends by her side.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include sons, Jesse Odell and Mary Farley of Kerrville, Virgil Odell and Lana of Marble Falls and Royce Odell and Lisa of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Chance Odell and Mary of Rayne, LA, Candice Brown and Guy of Buda, Justin Odell, Ashley Avery and Chris of Dallas, Kristina Miller and Martin of Boerne, James Farley and Monica of Hondo; great grandchildren, Ashton Avery, Cameron Avery, Derrick Miller, Dalton Miller, Brandon Miller and Brittany Jarrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nShe was predeceased by her three husbands and four brothers who all loved her dearly, and by an infant daughter, Rose Marie Odell.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 4 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Robin Duke and Eddie Duke. \r\n \r\nVirginia's family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to doctors, staff and special nurse April of Peterson Regional Medical Center; caregivers and friends at Mountain Villa Assisted Living and Hilltop Village; and Jenny of Peterson Hospice.\r\n
