Virginia Elizabeth Beasley, 86 of Ingram, passed away December 9, 2020 in Kerrville, surrounded by loved ones.\r\n\r\nVirginia (Ginny) was born January 9, 1934 in Norfolk, VA to John T. Crank and Annie Randolph Twiford. She married Luther C. Beasley on September 19, 1977 in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nAt the age of 70, Ginny earned her GED. She had various jobs: waitress, a nurse technician at Sid Peterson, phone operator at the VA and manager of the One-Stop convenience store. \r\n\r\nGinny was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her favorite calling was teaching the children. She was known by "Grandma" to all. She served as a Program Director for the Cub Scout Day Camp in Kerrville for 5 years and then as nurse until a few years ago.\r\n\r\nHer greatest achievement was raising her children. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, singing, dancing and collected stuffed animals and angels. \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Luther C. Beasley; all 15 of her siblings; her two sons, Arthur and Michael MacDougall; and her grandson, Kristopher Thompson.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include daughter, Linda Marshall and grandson who lived with her, Caleb Marshall; daughter, Patricia Bailey and son-in-law, Rick; daughter, Kathy MacDougall and Dennis Lemmon; and daughter, Laura Woodard and William Fleszar. She had 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to thank the staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center and all the hundreds, if not thousands, of prayers offered on behalf of Virginia, and all the people, too many to list, that were there for love and support for all of us, especially Ken Davis who was always there when she needed him.
