A shining star has left this earth and now resides in heaven. On September 6, 2014, Vila Beth Mayberry Seibert went home to join her beloved husband, Bob and sweet daughter, Karen. Timeless beauty, artist, style maven, writer, wordsmith, passionate politico, Vi possessed extraordinary intelligence, a quick wit, and gracious Southern charm. She leaves an earthly void that will remain forever unfilled, but the Belle of the Ball dances again!\r\n\r\nA devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Vi is survived by sons, Norman (Cherry), Dan (Maggie), Chris (Jill), Greg (Lana,) and daughter, Beth (Paul). Surviving grandchildren are Stacy Davidson, Tiffany Greene, Joanna and Darren Seibert, Eric and Gretchen Grunzke, Josh, Jake, Alexandria, Nathaniel, and Josiah Seibert. Great-grandchildren are Claire Davidson, Wade and Sam Greene, and Allie Seibert.\r\n\r\nDuring her last 21 months, Miss Vi was lovingly and compassionately cared for by the staff at Alpine Terrace Nursing Facility in Kerrville, TX. They were not simply caregivers; they became her friends. Ave Maria Hospice, also of Kerrville, provided expert care and extraordinary support and comfort to Mrs. Seibert and her family during her final days and hours.\r\n\r\nA celebration of her life will be held Monday, September 15, at 7:30 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville. Interment service, family only, will take place at Ft. Sam Houston on Tuesday, September 16. \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
