Vicki Lynn Cazier Barron, 66 of Center Point, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2015. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT, on April 30, 1948, to Clifton E. Cazier and Melba Tolley Cazier. She married Philip S. Barron on April 1, 1981, in Fredericksburg.\r\n \r\nShe graduated from Latter Day Saints Business College in Salt Lake City. She was the Executive Director for 24 ½ years at K'STAR, a non-profit organization that offers an Emergency Shelter in Kerrville with 24 hour care provided to youth and children in crisis and free counseling services to youth and families in 14 Texas counties. It is impossible to count the number of children's lives she touched through K'STAR. Always encouraging, never a harsh word she was a strong but gentle woman who led by example and provided a positive impact on children who needed it the most. \r\n \r\nShe was involved in the Historical Society and dedicated to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served as the President of the Relief Society, the Librarian and taught Sunday School. \r\n \r\nVicki was preceded in death by her husband and her father.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her mother, Melba, her son, Chris Bopp, her step-daughter, Jennifer Schandua and spouse Peter, and her step-son, Stuart Barron and spouse Dawn, all of Fredericksburg. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Marissa and Lauren Bopp, Hayden, Jakob and Sydney Schandua, and Sam and Gus Barron. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 4-6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015, 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 202 Coronado Drive, officiated by Bishop Ken Davis. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. \r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Stuart Barron, Peter Schandua, Eric Bopp, Alex Bopp, Cody Baker, and Keith Ricketts. \r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to K'STAR (830-896-5437) or to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
