Vernell Coffey

Vernell Lydia (Hulda) Woerner Coffey, age 91 of Harper, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1927 in Fredericksburg to Henry and Edna Woerner.\r\n\r\nShe was a homemaker, flower gardener and an awesome baker. She was loved by all.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Ralston Coffey.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include children, Gail Howerton and husband, Doug, Brenda Clark and husband, Jay and Chuck Coffey and wife, Ruth; grandchildren, Keef Howerton and wife, Crystal, John Howerton and wife, Emily, Jennifer Orr and husband, Charlie, Jason Nichols, Aaron Coffey and wife, Blaine, Seth Coffey, Sarah Armitage and husband, Turner; great-grandchildren, Jake, Joel and Willa Howerton, Maggie Orr, Noah Coffey and Gunnar Turley.\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Coffey Ranch Cemetery in Harper officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe.\r\n\r\nHonorary pallbearers will be Keef Howerton, John Howerton, Jason Nichols, Aaron Coffey, Seth Coffey and Turner Armitage.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harper Volunteer Fire Department.
