Vannette Bollier

Vannette Lucille Poorman Bollier, age 66, passed away on August 11, 2018 in her hometown of Kerrville, Texas. \r\n\r\nVannette is survived by her husband, Timothy Bollier; her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, Chance, Lauren, and Mason Bollier; her daughter, Caitlin Bollier; her sister and brother-in-law, Fay and Wayne Abraham; her sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Mark Paddock; her mother and stepfather, Ruth and Gene Lehmann; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Van Poorman; her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Ralph Winters; and her mother-in-law, Ramona Bollier. \r\n\r\nVannette was born on October 31,1951, in Wharton, Texas to Ruth and Van Poorman. She is a Tivy High School graduate of 1970, and a Texas A&M University graduate of 1974. She was a co-owner of Showers of Flowers in Kerrville, Texas for a short time before taking a position with Dugosh Aviation, where she worked for 30 years. \r\n\r\nVannette was a loving wife to Timothy Bollier, whom she married on February 1, 1986 in Kerrville, Texas. She was a very proud mother to the couple's two children, Chance and Caitlin Bollier. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her children's various sporting events over the years, both as players and as coaches.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas. Donna Magee will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vannette Bollier's life. The family would like to thank Dr. Andrew Brenner of Mays Cancer Center and the hospice staff at Brookdale Senior Living for their continuous care and support.
