Mr. Bradley, a former Corpus Christi City Councilman, died Thursday, Dec. 18th in Houston, TX, following a lengthy illness. He was owner and operator of many businesses in Texas. He was born on December 30, 1923 to Vaughan and Josephine Bradley and served in the U.S. Navy in WWII in the Pacific Theater. Following discharge from the Navy, he returned to Corpus Christi and went to work for his father and uncle in their electrical repair shop which he eventually owned and it became Bradleys Motor and Armature Works. The business was growing and he brought into the company an electrical engineer (Warren Spanutius) whose partnership proved to be a successful combination of talents leading to eventually nine companies of diverse fields of trade.\r\n \r\nMr. Bradley is predeceased by his first wife, Nola, son, Charles, second wife, Druscilla, and brother, Sam Bradley. He is survived by his son, Michael, step daughter, Pat Dahlberg, step sons, Joe, Jim and Jack MacKinnon, nieces, Kimberly Bradley, Kellie McKee and cousin, Ron Bradley.\r\n \r\nAt his request, there will be no public services.\r\n \r\n
