Tom Crowley II

March 24, 1954 — December 14, 2024

Tom Crowley II, 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on March 24, 1954, to the late Tom and Zera Crowley, Tommy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and hard work left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Tommy graduated from King High School in Corpus Christi, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a strong work ethic. After high school, he began his career with Southwestern Bell, dedicating decades to the telecommunications industry before retiring.

Retirement didn’t slow Tommy down; instead, it opened the door to his next chapter at Home Depot, where he found joy in meeting and chatting with countless customers and coworkers. His warm personality, quick wit, and genuine interest in others made him a favorite among those he met.

Tommy married the love of his life, Desta Crowley, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. He was a proud father to his two sons, Travis Crowley, 41, and Ty Crowley, 38, and a beloved father-in-law to Samantha Crowley. Tommy took immense pride in the men his sons had become, often speaking of their accomplishments, the values they upheld, and the fathers that they have become themselves.

His six grandchildren, Skylar (19), Trevin (16), Tyden (11), Savannah (8), Brynlee (4), and Taysom (2), were his greatest joys, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

As a proud grandfather, Tommy could often be found cheering enthusiastically at his grandchildren’s sporting events. Whether it was a game-winning run, a hard-fought play, or a simple moment of effort, Tommy was always there to show his support and okshare in their victories. His love for his family and steady encouragement made him a role model and a source of inspiration to all who knew him.

Tommy will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and his ability to make those around him feel valued and loved. Whether it was offering sage advice, cheering at his grandchildren’s events, or simply sharing a laugh over a cup of coffee, Tommy’s presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew him.

Tommy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the countless lives he touched.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.

Tommy’s family takes solace in knowing he is reunited with his parents, Tom and Zera, and dancing in the sky with the love of his life, Desta.

Forever and Ever Amen.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
