Thomas Wells

Thomas Ray Wells, age 57 of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Kerrville. He was born in San Diego, California to Ray and Alma Williams (but knew Kenneth J. Wells as his father, because he was adopted and changed his last name to Wells). He was born on April 6, 1961. He never married and had no children.\r\n\r\nHe graduated from Eagle Point High School in Eagle Point, Oregon. Tom joined the Army after high school. After getting out of the Army, Tom moved to Kerrville, Texas to be with his mother and dad. Tom went to work at Kerrville State Hospital in December 1984. He worked for them for 20 years in nursing service. Tom then went to work for the Kerrville V.A. Hospital in May 2003. \r\n\r\nTom was preceded in death by mother, Alma Lee Wells; father, Kenneth J. Wells; and sister, Lyndia Williams.\r\n\r\nTom is survived by his cousin, Pamisue Proctor and her husband, Jimmy Proctor.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2 PM. There will be no grave site burial.\r\n\r\nMemorials/Donations in his name may be given to the Kerrville V.A. Hospital.\r\n\r\nThe family of Thomas Wells wishes to extend our sincere thanks to his friends Betty Dixon, Kevin and Joella Brill, and his favorite bartender Faith and her husband Travis, and Scott and Marti Strange for always being there for him.\r\n\r\n\r\n
