Texas Pauline Hinds Woolls, 89, of Kerrville, passed away on February 4, 2020. She was born in Bandera, TX to Dick and Silva Hinds on December 23, 1930. She married Selby L. "Sonny" Woolls on January 3, 1951. \r\n\r\nShe graduated from Bandera High School and went on to be a devoted housewife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking everyone's favorite meals from fried deer meat to those famous desserts, sewing, crafts and gardening. She loved hunting and being outdoors and loved playing games with her family and friends. She never passed up an opportunity to hit up the penny machines at casino. Her favorite thing to do was sitting on the porch with a misty cigarette in her hand, and a cup of cappuccino watching the grandkids play. \r\n\r\nTexas is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Silva Hinds; husband, Sonny Woolls; daughter, Paula L. Barcelo; grandson, Ryan D. Woolls; sisters, Eva Mae Pickens, Dixie Kuhn, June Mills and brother, Teddy Hinds. \r\n\r\nTexas is survived by her children, Rody Woolls and wife Jeri; Judi Zippiere and husband Bill; Tammy Woolls; and Dickie Woolls and wife Penny. Grandchildren Phillip Woolls and wife Amy; Terry Crosser; Mikki Gipson and husband Charlie; Keith Austin and wife Haylee; Jana Watson and husband Michael, Bryce Woolls, Matthew Barcelo, Michael Barcelo, Brittany Wakeley and husband Charlie; William Zippiere; Brianne Waldrep and husband Travis; Hunter Woolls and wife Layken; Justin Gulley and wife Melinee; Blake Gulley and wife Corrie; Chelsea Gulley and Texas Woolls. Great grandchildren Hope Gipson, Loryn Gipson, Genna Crosser and fiancé Gage Schlumbrecht; Haley Crosser; Faith Crosser; Skyler Woolls, Courtney Woolls, Corbin Wakeley, Connor Wakeley, Colton Wakeley, Keian Austin, Keston Austin, Kaylor Austin, Garret Hafer, Luke Woodruff, Logan Watson, Saylor Woolls, Cohen Gulley, Crew Gulley, Payson Gulley, Baylor Gulley, Cadie Gulley and Ty Gulley. Sister in law Dottie Hinds and numerous nephews and nieces. Great great grandchildren Tanner Schlumbrecht; Cameron Schlumbrecht. \r\n\r\nThe family would like to invite everyone for an informal visitation at 2:00pm, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, TX to celebrate her life. \r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to your charity of choice in lieu of flowers. \r\n\r\nThe family of Texas wish to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Hilltop Village and New Century Hospice for caring for her during her finals days. \r\n\r\n\r\n
