Terry Puccini

Lt. Col (USAF, retired) Terry B. Puccini, 82, of Kerrville, passed away February 22, 2015, in Kerrville. He was born in Bracken County, KY, to John and Pearl Puccini on April 24, 1932. He married Helen Visser on August 17, 1968, in Fairfield, CA.\r\n \r\nTerry enlisted in the US Air Force after graduating high school in Brooksville, KY. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars as a SAC pilot flying B-47 and C-141 aircraft. Attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he retired to Kerrville, TX. He earned his degree at Trinity University and University of Texas at Dallas to become Chief of Physical Therapy at the Kerrville State Hospital for 18 years. \r\n\r\nTerry was an enthusiastic handball player, master gardener, voracious reader, enthralling storyteller, and devoted family man.\r\n \r\nTerry was a quiet man of courage and integrity that loved learning and pursued knowledge his entire life. \r\n \r\nTerry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, E.D. Puccini.\r\n \r\nTerry is survived by his wife, Helen Puccini; his daughter Cynthia and her husband, Andrew Haworth; his son Matthew and his wife, Shanti Puccini; and his grandchildren Andrew and Renata Puccini.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 27 at Trinity Baptist Church where he was an active member for over 40 years. Pastors John Wheat and Bill Blackburn will officiate.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]\r\n
