Teodora Mendez

Teodora Ramones Mendez, 93, of Cotulla, TX passed away on January 22, 2016 in Bandera, TX. She was born in Millett, TX to Felix Ramones and Paula De Hoyos on February 7, 1922. She was married to Daniel Mendez Sr.\r\n\r\nTeodora is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Mendez Sr.; son, Daniel Ramones Mendez, Jr.; and daughter, Paula Mendez Boyd.\r\n\r\nTeodora is survived by granddaughters, Myrna Mendez Rivera, Brenda Boyd Perez, Margarita Seeley, Maribel Mendez, and Marissa Mendez Flowers and their respected families. She was also survived by her brother, Pete Saucedo; her sisters, Frances Ochoa and Mary Garza; and many other family members, too numerous to name.\r\n\r\nA private family Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla, TX at 11:00 AM.\r\n\r\nThe family's of Myrna Mendez Rivera and Marissa Mendez Flowers wish to extend their sincere thanks to Dudley and La Nell Storey, Bill and Sara Lee Maltsberger, and Charlie and Dianne Brown for assisting Teodora on a daily basis while she lived alone, as well as her neighbors in Cotulla.\r\n\r\nSpecial gratitude is extended to Myrna and Marissa's mother, Guadalupe Carbajal Lawton, for being there for our grandmother Teodora while we were away.
