Suzanne B. Shaver, 76 of Kerrville, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home.\r\n \r\nSuzanne was born July 15, 1941 to Elbert and Charlene Butler in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Beaumont High School in 1959. She graduated from SMU where she was a Tri Delta. She returned to Beaumont and was involved in many civic organizations.\r\n \r\nSuzanne owned and operated the Paper Clip gift shop for 15 years before retiring and moving to Kerrville. She was an area representative for Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas for over 30 years and was receptionist at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville for several years.\r\n \r\nSuzanne is survived by her three children, Kevin Burchfield of Beaumont, Shawn Anne Font of Kerrville and Chad D. Burchfield of Brenham. Also surviving are grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Joshua, Caitlyn and great grandchildren, Marcus and Addison. Suzanne is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Valka and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Linda Butler. A large host of family, friends and co-workers from First United Methodist Church of Kerrville will miss her.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Friday, September 15, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nGraveside services will be 10 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas. \r\n
