Susan Burke

Susan Elaine Voss Burke, age 67, of Bandera, passed away on November 3, 2018 in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Beeville, Texas to Alfred Arnold Voss and Barbara Simpson Voss on February 12, 1951. She first attended school in Beeville, TX, graduating high school in Premont, TX. She worked in the cattle magazine publishing field in Kansas and Colorado. Many may remember her as the friendly face and voice in local businesses.\r\n\r\nSusan is preceded in death by parents Alfred A. Voss Sr. and Barbara Simpson Voss.\r\n\r\nSusan is survived by son Thomas Christopher Burke; brothers Al (Jan) Voss, Bobby (Debby) Voss; sister Brenda (Phillip) Parker; nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.\r\nPer her wishes, organ donation and cremation were performed. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, November 10 at White Rock Christian Fellowship, 473 Old San Antonio Rd., Bandera TX followed by further celebration 2:30-5:00pm at Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar. Friends and family are also invited to Normanna Cemetery, Normanna TX at 11:00am, Saturday, November 24, 2018. At this time Susan's ashes will be spread over her parent's gravesite.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to Bandera County Helping Hand or the charity of your choice.\r\n\r\nThe family of Susan wishes to extend sincere thanks to the caring ICU doctors and staff of Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.\r\n\r\n\r\n
