Sue Peterson

Sue Ellen Peterson, age 68, passed away July 18, 2015. She was born January 23, 1947 in Kerrville, Texas to Jack Hamilton Peterson and Ellen Reagan Peterson. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a Masters Degree in Psychology. She was employed by The Perry-Castaneda Library at the University of Texas in Austin for 15 years from June 1982 to August 1997. She moved back to Kerrville in 1997 and found employment with the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library working there for 13 years before retiring in 2010.\r\n \r\nSue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers, John Reagan Peterson and wife Helen, Walter Peterson and wife Frances of Bandera, Texas; son, Justin Killebrew, wife Libby and grandson Joey of Baltimore, Maryland; niece, Mary Peterson, husband Eric, great nephew Luke and niece Kate of Redmond, Washington; nephews, David Peterson of Hondo, Texas, Reagan Peterson of Kyle, Texas and Travis Peterson of Sugarland, Texas; Uncle Robert Reagan and wife Dalene of Kerrville, Texas; and many cousins and friends.\r\n \r\nSue died from complications of treatment for breast and bone cancer after living with it for sixteen years. \r\n\r\nIt was Sue's wish not to have a public memorial service; instead a special gathering for family and friends is being planned for mid-October.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
