Sterling Boone

Sterling Barney Boone, 49, of Center Point,Texas, passed away on July 5, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Uvalde, Texas to Nathan Jackson Boone and Dorothy Jean Boone on Feb 6,1966. He has been committed to Amy Kiolbassa since July 1 1994.\r\n\r\nHe went to school in Leakey, Texas. He graduated San Antonio Trade School as a boat mechanic. He was a musician, mechanic, and loved working with wood. He loved to play music from a young age, enjoyed fishing and camping and metal detecting.\r\n\r\nSterling Boone is preceded in death by father Nathan Jackson Boone, brothers Wayne Boone, Nathan Jackson Boone Jr., and Wesley Boone, and sister Amanda Jean Boone.\r\n\r\nSterling Boone is survived by wife Amy Kiolbassa of Center Point, Tx: daughter Lori Jones and husband Mike Jones of Norton, Tx: son Nathan Boone and fiancé Macey Archer of Center Point ,Tx: brother Jason Boone of Leakey,Tx: Sisters Cindy and husband Gary Manning of Lancaster, Tx, Carolyn and husband dennis Scott of Uvalde, Tx, Rhonda and husband Ken Cruce of Denton, Tx, Shirley and husband Bill Baxter of Uvalde, Tx, Stacey and husband George Castillo of Uvalde, Tx, Loretta and husband Tommy Cross of Junction, Tx, Sherrie and husband Chad Hickenbottom of Junction, Tx, Sandy and husband Jeremy Rotge of Junction, Tx.: Mother Dorothy Jean Boone of Fredericksburg, Tx.. Also numerous Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends and fellow musicians.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Friday July 10 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, Tx.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1pm Saturday July 11 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, Tx. with Donna Carroll of Junction Full Gospel Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Leakey cemetery around 4pm.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Jason Boone, Nathan Boone, Jonathan Boone, Randal Boone, D.J.
