Stanley Phillips, 99 of Mico Texas, passed away on November 3rd in Bandera Texas. He was born in Spur Texas to Albert W. Phillips and Mable Grizzle on March 21st, 1925. He married Kathryn Phillips on July 7th, 1985, in Kendall County Texas.
He retired from CPS after 33 years. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army. He was involved in Alzafar Shriners as well as a Master Mason. He was a member of the Lakehills United Methodist Church, and recently joined The Cowboy Church.
Stanley was the last of 11 brothers and sisters.
Stanley is survived by his wife Kathryn Phillips, daughter Sandra Phillips, stepson Chris Heyen and wife Debbie Heyen, stepson Cliff Heyen, Grandson Chance Heyen and fiancé Kendall English.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday November 8th at Lakehills United Methodist Church with the Pastor Peter Aguilar and Pastor Everett McCarley Officiating. The burial will be at Fort Sam Houston at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
