Sharon Welker

Sharon Marie Merithew-Welker, age 67 of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born October 2nd, 1949 in Seneca Falls, NY the first child of Marian and Maurice E Merithew.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her children, Marian Meyers of Kerrville, TX, Robert Woodhams and Faith Milliken of Phelps, NY. She is survived by siblings, Maurice T Merithew of Magnolia, TX, Betty Rogowski of Medina, NY, Bill Merithew of Bedford, TX, Mark Merithew of Kent, NY and Betsy Merithew of Rochester, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marian and Maurice Merithew; her sister, Ann Merithew-Rolan; and her brother, Leonard Merithew.\r\n \r\nShe is also survived by many, many friends\r\n \r\nSharon was a remarkable woman. Although small in stature she made up for it in love and compassion not only for her friends and family but for her four legged family too. You've heard "Don't Mess with Texas", well you didn't mess with Sharon either. She would often say, "they pack dynamite in small packages."\r\n \r\nA celebration of life service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the YO Hotel.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local SPCA and hug your pet today.
