Sharon Lea Remington, 58, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 in a local hospital. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Harold E. Remington and the late Martha Lydia Horn Remington on October 30, 1956.\r\n \r\nSharon was a graduate of Waxahachie High School in Texas. She was employed with Walmart Supercenter in Kerrville as a CSM. \r\n \r\nSharon was preceded in death by one brother, Harold "Wayne" Remington. She is survived by her father, Harold Edward Remington of Maine; daughter, Brandy Brown and husband, Darrell of Atoka, Tennessee and son, David Wayne Snell and wife, Lucy of Kerrville. She also leaves behind one brother, Billy Bates and wife, Debbie of Lathrop, Missouri and niece, Nikki Remington-Penrose and husband, Keith of New Braunfels, Texas. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Macie and Shelby Snell and Lilly and Levi Miller. \r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Friday, June 19, 2015 at Impact Christian Fellowship, 2031 Goat Creek Road in Kerrville. Her cousins, Randy Horn and James Lynn Horn will be officiating the service. Fellowship will follow the service at the National Guard Armory, 411 Meadowview in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nThe family of Sharon wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the ER, ICU and 3rd floor staff and the other staff who assisted our family at Peterson Regional Medical Center. The family would also like to thank Kris and Sarah Kocurek for all they have done for the family and for going above and beyond and handling any and everything asked of them and just loving our mother as their own. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations to help cover funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
