Sergio Ortega, Jr., age 65, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1956, in Juarez, Mexico to Sergio Daniel Ortega, Sr. and Maria De los Angeles Delgado.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sergio Ortega, Sr.; brother, Javier Ortega; and brother-in-law, Guadalupe Borjas.
He is survived by his wife, Alyce Ortega; mother, Maria De los Angeles Delgado Ortega; daughters, Sabrina (Nic) Garcia, Allyson (Rick) Davila; sons, Sergio (Melissa) Ortega, III, Daniel (Melissa) Ortega; sisters, Carmen (Ernesto) Mendoza, Mague Borjas; 6 Grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 5, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
Services are entrusted to Grimes Bander Funeral Chapel, 1214 Mulberry, Bandera, Texas 78003.
