Schylur Thomas

Schylur Vaughn Thomas, 49, of Ingram, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, in a local hospital. He was born February 8, 1972 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota to David and Marian (Dorman) Thomas. The family moved to Kerrville, Texas in the early 1980s where he attended Tivy High School. In 1991, the family relocated to Seattle, Washington. He ended up back in Kerrville where he met and married his love, Patti Price, in 2013. Schylur loved music, playing guitar, movies and sharing a drink with his friends and family. Schylur was the middle child of 6 kids, but we all understood he was our Mom's baby. He was just that lovable. He always had a smile across his face. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor and positivity. Some people have even said he could turn a gloomy day sunny. While he's mostly known for those qualities, some of us remember him as that rowdy brother who would put you in a wrestling move, give you a noogie and make faces at you when getting in trouble because it was finally someone else's turn! Our hearts are broken and our lives are forever changed. We will miss him dearly. He is reunited with his brother, Terry; his sister, Leilanie; and our mother, Marian, who now has her baby back. He is survived by his wife, Patti Price-Thomas; father, David Allen Thomas; siblings, Corrinna Walter (Steve), Gillian Thomas, and Kasey Nelms (Charles); sister-in-law, Sharon Thomas; nieces and nephews, Sundae Oakes (Trey), Noel Jordan (Wade), Cheyenne Thomas, Rory Walter, Cam Fetters and CJ Hernandez; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his ''brothers from another mother,'' Aaron Sanders and Todd Sipes, who will forever be a part of the Thomas family. Per his request, no services will be held.
