Sandra Overley

Sandra L. Overley, 73, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 11, 1942. Sandra married John L. Overley on January 4, 1964. They spent 52 years together making many memories.\r\n\r\nSandra is preceded in death by father, Harry F Bort Jr.; step-mother, Marie Bort; and sister, Sharon Tipton.\r\n\r\nSandra is survived by husband, John Overley; children, Joy Lee, DJ and Karen Overley; grandchildren, Breanna Lee, Ryan Lee, Jason Lee, Aaron Lee, Wesley Overley, and Wyatt Overley; and a great grandchild, Heidi Lee.\r\n\r\nSandra was an artist, photo1grapher, and golfer. She enjoyed her long walks through the Flying L with her poodle, Ginger. Her smile will be missed.\r\n\r\nMemorial services will be held at 1:30 PM, on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Bandera United Methodist Church at 1103 Cedar St. Bandera, Texas 78003.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
