As an Air Force officer's wife, Ruth traveled and lived in many places, including Hawaii, Maryland, Charleston SC, and Oslo, Norway. After Pete's death in 1959, Ruth returned to San Antonio to begin the second chapter of her life. In 1961, Ruth married Dan Elbert Beall, and they had a son Daniel. Ruth later lived in Rockport, Texas, and then relocated to Kerrville in 1982. In 1997, Ruth purchased 20 acres in Mountain Home, Texas, and settled happily into her hill country haven that was populated with deer and antelope, where she lived until recently.\r\n \r\nRuth was preceded in death by her parents, her children Charlene and Charles, and husbands Pete and Dan. She is survived by daughter Deanne Kuba Miller of Wimberley, Texas, son Daniel "Jeb" Beall and daughter-in-law Kay of Mountain Home, and her sister Marian Siebrecht Oden of Schulenberg, Texas. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.\r\n \r\nRuth will be laid to rest with her first husband Pete, at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, in San Antonio, Texas.
