Roy Roland

Roy Charles Roland, 66, of Bandera, Texas, passed away on May 4, 2023, in Kerrville, Texas. He was born at Eglin Air Force Base, in Florida, to George Roland and Doris Epperson on May 17, 1956.

He was a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm War and served in the US Navy. He was involved in Harley Davis biker groups, Moose Lodge, and various VFW.

He went to school in Ashville, North Carolina and graduated from Enka Highschool. Roy worked at Sherwin Alumina where he later retired.

He is survived by his daughters; Brandy Swan 44, of Kings Bay, Georgia and Krysta Faulkner 42, and husband Jason of Kings Bay, Georgia.

Stepdaughters; Chastity Duncan 40, of Aransas Pass, Texas, and Jessica Morrison 38 of Virginia.

Grandchildren; Braden Hernandez 24, Daniel Roland 23, Christopher Wages 20, Kyndall Duncan 20, Tori Wages 19, Hailey Morrison 6, Scarlet Faulkner 5, and Maverick Faulkner 4.

Great Grandchildren; Graham Roland 6m and Parker Petersen 1.

Brother; Rex Roland of Ashville, North Carolina.

Other members of the family; Phala, Carmel, Sandra, Erin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Wild Horse Saloon. Family asks for anyone who has pictures of Roy to please bring them and a dish of their choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
