Rosemary Brower Renner, age 82 of Kerrville, TX, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 24, 1934 in Dayton, OH to Frank and Gladys (Zimmerman) Brower.\r\n \r\nRosemary went to school at Milton-Union High School in West Milton, OH and attended Manchester University in North Manchester, IN, Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH and Pan American University in Edinburg, TX.\r\n \r\nShe and her husband co-owned and operated a college bookstore, McAllen Mobile Park and the Double R Ranch in the Hill Country. She was also a member of the President's Club with the McAllen Chamber of Commerce for many years.\r\n \r\nRosemary was a member of First United Methodist Church in McAllen and in Kerrville. She was an active choir member at both churches.\r\n \r\nShe had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed many hobbies which included fishing, riding motorcycles, canoe trips and was an avid Spurs fan. Their motorhome travels included 49 states, Mexico, Canada and Australia. She was a dedicated reader, enjoyed growing roses, gardening, and caring for hummingbirds.\r\n \r\nMost importantly, Rosie was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life as a faithful Christian.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include husband, Leon Renner of Kerrville; children, Sue Renner of Austin, Linda Renner-Freeman (Tommy) of Harlingen, David Renner (Lillian) of McAllen, Dean Renner (Beverly) of McAllen and Carol Renner-Wallace (Ralph) of Dripping Springs; sister, Pat Hoover of Greenville, OH; brother, Frank Brower Jr. (Louise) of Troy, OH; and grandchildren, Cory Freeman, Jamie Freeman (Ariel), Mallory Roberts (Philip), Brady and Tyler Renner and Noble Wallace.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville officiated by Rev. Donna Magee. There will be a private family interment. Pallbearers will be Brady Renner, Tyler Renner, Cory Freeman, Jamie Freeman, Noble Wallace and Philip Roberts.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heifer International or to Peterson Hospice, Kerrville.\r\n
