Ronnie Behrens

Ronnie Behrens, 60, of Mathis, TX, passed away on September 25 in Kerrville. He was born in Fredericksburg to Orvin and Annie (Meier) Behrens on January 19, 1956. He married Cathy Holland on August 13, 1977 in Fredericksburg.\r\n \r\nHe graduated from Harper High School. He retired early from Windstream (formerly Kerrville Telephone Company) so that he and his wife may fulfill their dream of moving to Lake Corpus Christi to enjoy their love of fishing and camping.\r\n \r\nRonnie is preceded in death by his parents.\r\n \r\nRonnie is survived by his wife, Cathy, his daughter, Elizabeth, his siblings and their spouses, Wayne and Linda, Lester and Sally, Mary and Jack, and grandson, Landon.\r\n \r\nThe Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 1 at St. James Lutheran Church in Harper. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hill Country Memorial Hospice (P.O. Box 835, Fredericksburg, TX 78624), Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (2914 Swiss Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204), or St. James Lutheran Church (P.O. Box 191, Harper, TX 78631).\r\n \r\n
