Ronald Keith Kight, Jr., 48, passed away on December 25, 2020 at home in Comfort, Texas. He was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Ronald Keith, Sr., and Patsy (neé Chamberlain) Kight on April 21, 1972. \r\n\r\nKeith grew up in Sanderson, Texas and attended Sanderson Elementary School. He moved to San Angelo, Texas, in 1984 and attended Central High School, where he graduated in 1990. He worked as a disc jockey for a time in San Angelo, worked for Old Friend's Taxidermy as a taxidermist, and eventually joined the family business as an engraver at Just For You Engraving. He was a member of the Southgate Church of Christ in San Angelo and really loved the music and joy he found in the church. \r\n\r\nKeith loved playing guitar and played in numerous local bands in the San Angelo area for many years including Blackwater. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an active member of the Comfort Little Theater in Comfort, Texas. \r\n\r\nKeith is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles Oliver "C.O" and Maxine Kight, his maternal grandparents, Howard and Estelle Chamberlain, uncles Lloyd Goldwire, Bill Chamberlain, Weldon Chamberlain. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his girlfriend, Julie Gaines, his parents, Ronald Keith, Sr., and Pat Kight, his sister, Misty Paxton, nephews, Killion and Cash Paxton, all of Comfort, Texas; his uncle, Larry Kight of Harper; his aunt, David and Alice Glass of Austin, Texas; his stepdaughters, Paige Ramos in Malvern, Arkansas and Faith Ramos of San Angelo, Texas. \r\n\r\nBurial will be December 29 at 1pm at Cox Cemetery, in Brady, Texas.
