Rola Seyler

Rola Jean Seyler, 95, of Center Point, TX, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Center Point. She was born in Ottawa, KS to Charles and Annis Gambrill on Feb. 12, 1923. She was married to Carey M. Seyler on Aug. 2, 1941 in Wichita, KS.\r\n\r\nShe graduated from high school in Ottawa, KS. She was an administrative assistant for 25 years to the owner of a tile and grout company, C. E. Kaiser, in Houston. After retiring, she and Carey moved from Houston to Center Point where she became involved in the Center Point Chapter of Eastern Star and the Center Point Garden Club. She was also a member of the Kerr County Home Extension and the American Legion Auxillary.\r\n\r\nRola was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Seyler.\r\n\r\nRola is survived by her daughter, Terry Seyler and her son, Chuck Seyler and his wife Sharyl. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tracy Beach and wife Tanya, Brandon Beach, Carey Seyler, Cody Seyler, Lindsey Sandefur and husband Justin, Denton Hadden, Holly Hadden, and five great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nA memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Schreiner Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 800 Jefferson, Kerrville, TX 78028, Rev. Dr. Rob Lohmeyer will be officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Center Point Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department. \r\n\r\nThe family of Rola wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Peterson Hospice.\r\n
