Roderick Lee Raby

Roderick Lee Raby, 70, of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away on February 8, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 3, 1954, in Munich, Germany, to Ralph and Geraldine Raby. He married Carolyn Raby on May 4, 1990.

Roderick worked in body repair since leaving high school and the United States Army, with his last place of employment being Jennings Anderson Ford in Boerne, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Geraldine Raby. sister, Donna Andraes; brother, Charles Raby (wife Denise); sisters-in-law, Jan Raby and Linda Raby; niece, Shannon; nephew, Thomas Raby and Douglas Raby; grand-niece, Anisa; and grand-nephew, Sidney Raby.

Roderick is survived by his wife, Carolyn Raby; stepchildren, Joseph Lopez (Jeanie Furr Dale), Julie Strom (Jeff), and Ramiro (Rocky) Lopez (Tiffany); grandchildren, Zoe Spindle, Bradley, Dylan, and Everly Lopez; siblings, Thomas (Eddy) Raby (wife Kathy), Ronald Raby, and Blaney Raby (wife Sherry), along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will take place at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, Texas beginning at 9 AM on Tuesday February 18, 2025, with a rosary to follow at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus New Catholic Cemetery in Bandera, Texas. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
