Roberta Edmonds

Roberta Edmonds, age 94 of Kerrville, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1923 in Kerrville to George and Minnie Benson. She was the last of 16 brothers and sisters. \r\n \r\nRoberta loved music, baking and loved her family. She also enjoyed taking her walk when she could.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Edmonds Sr.; daughter, Patricia Houston; and grandson, Murphy Springs. \r\n \r\nSurvivors include son, Walter Edmonds (Dorothy) of Kerrville; grandchildren, Dominic Edmonds, Damon Edmonds, Yoncy Edmonds (Gloria), Nicole Anderson, and Courtney Farr; great-grandchildren, Joshua Edmonds, Tassney Edmonds, Bishop Springs, Damon Edmonds Jr., Glorious Edmonds, Siera Edmonds, Kobie Edmonds, Logan Edmonds, and Layton Edmonds; one great-great grandchild, Javery Edmonds; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with interment following at Garden of Memories North Cemetery.\r\n
