Robert Small

Robert Gerald 'Bob' Small, 87, passed from this life on November 8, 2016 in Gearhart, OR.\r\n \r\nBob was born December 1, 1928 in Kernersville, NC, to the late Helen Shumaker Small and the late David Otis Small.\r\n \r\nBob grew up in North Carolina. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Campaign.\r\n \r\nBesides his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Cockrell Small and his brother, Ed Small. He is survived by two daughters: Leigh Spratt of Gearhart, OR and Bobbie Gore and husband Keith of Harper, TX; one son: Robert E. Small and wife Christie of Linden, TX; one sister: Betty Zoe Sandri of Dewey, AZ; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.\r\n \r\nBurial will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3250 Fredericksburg Rd, Kerrville, TX.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, 411 Meadowview Ln., Kerrville, TX 78028.\r\n
