Robert Reed

Robert Donald (Donnie) Reed, 71, of Pipe Creek, passed away on May 4, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Pell City, Alabama to Joel C. and Elizabeth Reed on October 9, 1945. He Married Patricia Ann Harris on July 11, 1982 in San Antonio, TX.\r\n\r\nPat and Donnie owned and operated D&P Automotive on FM 1283 until their retirement in 2005. Donnie was an active member of the St. Stanislaus Parrish and also attended St. Victor's Chapel. He was a member of Bandera Council 10258 Knights of Columbus and a life time member of the Bandera Gun Club.\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by : Wife, Patricia Ann Reed, parents, Elizabeth Y. and Joel Curtis Reed, Jr., brothers, Joel C. Reed III and Johnny Reed.\r\n\r\nSurvived by: one Brother, Jimmy (Linde) Reed, one Sister, Betty Lou Reed, one Daughter Kimberly Reed (Charles)Grizzard, one Son, James D. Reed, and his Godson Kyle (Jessica) Tiner. 4 grandchildren, Katie Grizzard (Blake) Lambert, Zachary Grizzard, Amanda (Andrew) Stout, Ashley (Cody)Meeks,and nine great grandchildren, Brantley, Austin, Jasper, and Charley Lambert, Owen and Chelin Stout, Addilyn, Ryan and Hayden Meeks; several nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nA Mass will be held Wednesday, 2:00 PM, May 10, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Father John Nolan officiating.\r\n\r\nA Graveside Funeral will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM, May 11, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.\r\n\r\nIn Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any Veterans organization for the benefit of disabled veterans.\r\n\r\n
