Robert E. Kyle\r\n\r\nRobert E. Kyle, 89, a recent resident of Kerrville and a 22 year resident of Bandera, passed away on February 3, 2018 in Kerrville. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Martha Louise and Kylus Edward Kyle on January 4, 1929.He Married Mollie Louise Wallace on February 3, 1996 in San Antonio, TX.\r\n\r\nAfter graduation from high school, he served his country honorably in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He served God as member of Bandera United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Bandera Lodge No. 1123 A.F. and A.M., Scottish Rite and Alzafar Shrine Temple in San Antonio. He was also a member of the United Fiddlers Association. He retired from Kelly AFB after 35 years of service.\r\n\r\nRobert is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Edna and his daughter, Deborah Kyle.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 22 years Louise; daughter, Patricia Sharp; step daughters, Dawn Blackmar and husband, Mike, Ricki Zieman and husband, Larry; step son, Chuck Jackson and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Matt Kyle and Clint Sharp, John Duncan, Dylan Jackson, Devin Puckett, Ty and Sean Zieman.\r\n\r\nA Visitation will be held 5:00 PM tp 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, Febrary 8, 2018 at Bandera United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Toomire and Rev. Dr. Dennis Thompson officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with Military Honors.\r\n\r\nIn Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bandera United Methodist Church.
