Robert Drotos

Robert Edward "Bob" Drotos, age 84 entered rest Sunday, October 14, 2018 in a Bandera care facility following a long and debilitating illness.\r\n\r\nBob was born June 7, 1934 in New York City, New York to Emma Baldwin Drotos and John Drotos. On October 4, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mary Kline in the Bronx, New York. Bob served his country honorably for four years in the United States Air Force. He and Mary served God as faithful members of Grace Lutheran Church in Bandera. Bob was a life member of VFW Post 6753 in Knoxville, Pennsylvania. For almost forty years he worked as a driver in the field of delivery and courier service. Bob has been a resident of Bandera, Texas for the last\r\ntwenty years.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include his wife of sixty years, Mary; daughter Diane McGinnis; son Mark Drotos; grandchildren Jamie Boorum, Amanda Pabon and Alayna Pabon; great grandchildren Kaitlin and Evan Pabon; several extended family members and treasured friends that will miss him.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5 - 8:00 P.M. at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church, Bandera, Texas with Pastor Brady Eggleston officiating.
