Robert Doran invites all family and friends, many knew him as the BOB the KNIFE GUY, to celebrate his going away party. He has started the adventure of all time as he goes to be with the Lord. He will be joining those who preceded him in this journey: his mother Aletha Doran, father Charles Doran and a few others that started this adventure before him, such as Carroll Shelby, James Dean and John Wayne! Boy, what company he will be with.\r\n \r\nHe is leaving to irritate you, those he loves; such as his smart mouth but beautiful wife Cynthia, their daughter, the Brat, Amber Chupp, the world's greatest son in law David Chupp, and two of the most precious grandchildren (since they are so precious, we question their parentage) Sam "Buck- O" and Rachel "Peanut" Chupp, as well as his honorary grandchildren Taylor, Ava, PJ and Olivia. \r\n \r\nAlso left behind to still trudge in this world, he leaves two brothers, the Biker, Larry Doran, the Baker, Chuck Doran and a musically talented nephew Noah Doran. \r\n \r\nBorn in Upland, PA in 1953 at a time when hot muscle cars and Rock N Roll bands (many were born in Pennsylvania) were getting started. Although he didn't play in a band but he was a Mustang enthusiast. Nothing was better than a warm summer night and an open road, and "NO" Amber you can't drive it. Bob's only regret is that he is leaving his friend and neighbor David Alexander with Cindy and Linda (Lucy & Ethyl) to keep out of trouble.\r\n \r\nBob lived a full life and in his later years, he was a CNC machinist by trade but what he really excelled in was being a grandfather. He was a certified Monster Slayer having collected buckets of their ashes after he incinerated them. No monster was ever found in a closet or under the bed at Nana's and Pop-pops. He holds the title of Master Builder as he proficiently built every Police/Fire/EMS Lego set ever produced without complaint. He could wear a feather boa proudly while remembering pinky's out when drinking tea with his Peanut. Bob will be greatly missed. \r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015, 10 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by David Billeiter. \r\n
