Robert Coronado, of Center Point, Texas peacefully passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 with his loving brother and sister-in-law by his side.\r\n\r\nRobert was born June 6, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to his parents, Rafael and Ventura Hernandez Coronado. He moved with his family to Center Point and later Camp Verde, returning to Center Point in 1956. He worked for Kerr County Road and Bridge until his retirement. He always loved the outdoors. \r\n\r\nRobert was from a large family of 9 - Mom and Dad and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.\r\n\r\nRobert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Narcisso Coronado and Esteven Coronado; and sisters, Irene Ybarra and Frances Coronado.\r\n\r\nRobert is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Augustine and Sharon Coronado of Kerrville; sister, Caterina Salas of San Antonio; also by numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be from 2-6:30 pm, Wednesday January 2, 2019 with Prayer service and Rosary recited at 6:30 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville by Deacon Sonny Kaufhold.\r\n\r\nFuneral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday January 3, 2019 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father David Wagner as celebrant, with burial following at Center Point Cemetery. A reception luncheon will be provided at Notre Dame Social Center following burial.\r\n\r\nSpecial thanks to the Knights of Columbus 6409 and 2465 for prayers and a special thanks to Alpine Terrace caregivers, especially his buddy, Oscar Hardeman. Also, thanks to Peterson Hospice who took care of Robert in his final days.\r\n\r\n
