Robert Belding

Robert Dwayne Belding, 79, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Linden, Iowa to Robert and Hazel Belding on September 1, 1939. He married Catherine Robertson Belding on February 8, 1964 in Edinburgh, Scotland. \r\n\r\nHe was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he was a dedicated employee of the United States Government until he retired in 2001. \r\n\r\nRobert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hazel and Robert Belding; his brothers, Dwight and Donald Belding; and his sister, Rosemary Weimann.\r\n\r\nRobert is survived by his wife, Catherine Robertson Belding; his children, Sherry Dukehert, Robert Belding II and Rochelle Volney (m. Darrell); his brother, Dale Belding; sisters, Roselyn Putnam and Rozella Cooper; his grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Ian, Alexander and Zachary; and his great-grandchildren, Analyce, Aurora, Wyatt, Michael and Richard. \r\n\r\nVisitation will be 4-6 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 10 am, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville with Rev. Frankie Enloe officiating. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association in the name of Robert Dwayne Belding will be greatly appreciated. \r\n\r\nThe family of Robert Dwayne Belding would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jon Chancellor of Kerrville, Dr. John Sanderson of Kerrville and Dr. J.
