Ricky Dall Jackson, age 64, of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at his residence.\r\n Born in Farmington, New Mexico on August 14, 1952 to Jerry and Shirley Jackson, Ricky spent his younger years in Tulia, Texas until his family moved to Kerrville in 1967. He graduated from Tivy High School in 1970. After graduation he worked in the family business, Colorama TV, with his father until the business closed. He worked there for 40 years.\r\n\r\n Rick is survived by his wife Gloria, step-daughters, Jessica Fierro and husband Ray, Jennifer Yeager and husband Daniel and Alyssa Ellis; father, Jerry Jackson; sister, Theresa Stehling and husband Mike; son, Cody Jackson and wife Sylvia of Georgetown; daughters, Christy Murphy and husband Brian of Dallas and Julie Jackson of Austin; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\n Rick was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Jackson and his sister Ritha Weyland.\r\n\r\n Rick was an avid sports fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Spurs and Astros. He also enjoyed bowling in his earlier years and was very good at it. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family camping, fishing and playing volleyball and throwing washers. He always loved beating you in Ping Pong.\r\n\r\n Rick was a loving husband, father and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.\r\n\r\n Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville with Gregg Cummings officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories cemetery.\r\n\r\n Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.\r\n\r\n
