Richard Paul Stadler, age 82, of Harper, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 in his home. He was born in Heights, Texas on October 10, 1937 to Louis and Winnie Stadler. \r\n\r\nHe graduated Reagon High School, then joined the US Coast Guard. He became Sec. Class Petty Officer. When he finished service, he got married to Donna Scarborough. They were together for 60 years. They moved from Pasadena, Texas to Harper, Texas in 1977.\r\n\r\nHe was in Mobile Home service for 35 years. He was known as one of the most friendliest people around. \r\n\r\nRichard is preceded in death by son, Clinton Stadler, brothers Louis Stadler and Ralph Stadler, Mother and Daddy, Louis & Winnie Stadler.\r\n\r\nRichard is survived by his loving wife and daughters: Sherrie Stadler; and Stacy Caprenter, husband Tommy; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held Tuesday, June 2nd at 4:00 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n\r\nServices will be Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 am at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow in Harper Community Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Timothy Carpenter, Kenneth Carpenter, Kenneth Stadler, Gary Stadler, Tommy Carpenter, Terri Carpenter & Emily Carpenter.\r\n\r\nThose who desire, memorial contributions can be made to Harper Cemetery or Harper Fire Department.
