Richard “Bud” Heidelberg, a beloved member of the Pipe Creek community, passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on January 27, 1949, Bud left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. Bud was a hardworking individual who consistently put others before himself. He will be remembered for his warm smile that brightened the lives of everyone around him; and the stories he told!
Bud’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Survived by his wife Ann of over 45 years, children: Jean Stevens (James) of Osyka Ms., Henry Heidelberg (Sandy) of Laurel Ms., Earl Heidelberg (Jeanie) Pipe Creek, Tx., Greg Heidelberg (Shannon) of Tyler Town Ms., Stephanie Maxey-Youst (John) of Helotes, Tx. Kenny Johnson (Ashley) of Van Cleave Ms., LeeAnn Heidelberg (Greg) of Pipe Creek, Tx., and Jayden Maxey of Pipe Creek, and Shawn Maxey of Pipe Creek. Many grand kids and great grandkids, nieces and nephews. Also survived by a sister, Janie Brymer, of Bandera, and brother Michael Heidelberg, of Mississippi.
He is proceeded by death by his father Samuel Heidelberg, mother Floy Heidelberg, brothers Alfred Heidelberg and James Heidelberg, and sister Omega Sullivan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm, October 19, 2024, at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel in Bandera, Tx. Flowers or plants can be sent to 1214 Mulberry St, Bandera, Tx. 78003. Many thanks go to the full support of Alamo Hospice staff and to Bandera Nursing Rehabilitation staff.
