Rhonda Lea Amundson went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 27, 2016.\r\n \r\nRhonda was born November 14, 1963 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Donald and Mary Amundson.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her parents; three brothers, David (special friend Teri Hilke), Randall (Pam) of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Keith (Tonya) of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; and one sister, Denise (Albert) Graham of Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 7 nieces and 5 nephews.\r\n \r\nRhonda was diagnosed with an eye disease and rheumatoid arthritis at 18 months of age. By eighteen years of age, the disease caused total blindness.\r\n \r\nRhonda earned a degree in Medical Transcription, Computer Science, and Assistive Technology which she used to teach others that were losing their eyesight.\r\n \r\nIn July of 2013, the pain from rheumatoid arthritis could no longer be controlled leaving her unable to use her fingers on the keyboards without causing severe damage to her joints and also unsafe to live independently. At that time, it was decided that she should move in with her parents who are retired and live in Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nRhonda's problems didn't end there. In August of 2013, she was diagnosed with gist cancer which became the battle she could not defeat.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 11 AM, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Kerrville officiated by Pastor Dave Bass.\r\n
