Rev. W.N. Perkins, resident of Kerrville, Texas since 1967, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Kerrville. Born in San Antonio, Texas to Roy and Ruth Perkins on May 27, 1934, he married the love of his life, Elva Estelle Coggin, May 14, 1953.\r\n \r\nHe served his Lord and Savior as pastor to several churches of the First Assembly of God organization, the last in Kerrville from 1967-2012.\r\n \r\nRev. Perkins was preceded in death by his wife, Elva Estelle Perkins; granddaughter, Rebecca Leigh Goodman; his parents, Roy and Ruth Perkins; his parents-in-law, Bob and Bessie Coggin; one brother, Bud Perkins; two sisters, Mildred Moon and Ruth (Sally) LaJuene.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his daughters, VaLinda Goodman and husband, Michael Goodman; VaNisha Mallory and husband, Ted Mallory, VaRhonda Counts and husband, Doug Counts and VaNeda Perkins; one sister, Marie (Totsie) Sanders; and three grandchildren, Michael Goodman, Jacquelyn Mallory and Brian Counts.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at First Assembly of God Church, 901 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, officiated by Pastor Phil Jackson. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3, San Antonio.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Assembly of God, Kerrville, Texas missions or Peterson Hospice.\r\n \r\nWe wish to extend our thanks for all the love and support provided by the members of First Assembly of God Church in Kerrville as well as Peterson Hospice during the last few months of our dad's life.\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n
