Refugio Gonzales

Refugio Rocha Gonzales, age 89 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in a local care center. He was born July 4, 1925 in Hebbronville, TX to Francisco Thomas Gonzales and Andrea (Rocha) Gonzales.\r\n \r\nRefugio was a jack of all trades. He was horse jockey and loved to hunt, fish and bowl. \r\n \r\nHe loved his family and loved family time. He will be greatly missed by all. \r\n \r\nSurvivors include wife, Carolina Gonzales of Kerrville; daughters, Flora Ayala (Bobby) of Harper, Christine Casillas (Robert) of Center Point, Sally Chavarria (Robert) of Lubbock, and Renee Collier (Steven) of Converse; sons, Tommy Gonzales (Janice) of Bandera, Rocky Gonzales (Lucy) of Lubbock, Mike Gonzales (Isabel) of Bandera, Adam Gonzales, Joel Gonzales (Julie) and Arthur Gonzales, all of Kerrville; sisters, Maria Victoria Ruiz of Houston and Jovita Gonzales of Hebbronville; brothers, Robert Gonzales (Clem) of Kerrville and Urbano Gonzales of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Noel Gonzales.\r\n \r\nA Rosary will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014, 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Chaplain Francisco DeLa Torre.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held Monday, December 1, 2014, 11 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, officiated by Rev.
